Life is hectic. Your time is precious. I know you love your puppy or dog, but I bet you have no interest in becoming a part-time dog trainer! I get it. Leave the heavy lifting to a certified professional and confidently check off "train the dog" from your to-do list.
During a Board & Train program, your puppy, adolescent, or adult dog will live with me in my home, learn beginning skills for basic manners, and enjoy unlimited cuddles while being cared for like family. Specific training skills are customized for your goals and the length of the stay. Examples are:

* 14-day program is the minimum required for beginning leash walking.

Who Is Eligible?
Puppies, adolescents, and adult dogs
Must be friendly and happy with unfamiliar people
Must be at least 3 months old at the start of the program
Board & Train programs are not for dogs who are fearful, anxious, reactive, lunging, growling, snapping, or biting in any context. For dogs displaying any of those behaviors, please book a Behavior Consultation.

Kick-Off Session
After you complete the intake form below, I'll get in touch about booking the kick-off session at my home (located in 60646). During this session, we will discuss your training goals, behavior questions, and immediate steps you can start. For very young puppies, a shorter meeting via Zoom may be offered as an option instead. We'll decide together if a Board & Train program would be a good fit, and if so, we'll book it!

Board & Train Program
Your dog will live in my home, be loved on like family, and have a blast! Each program includes structured training sessions, informal training in everyday life, enrichment opportunities, play and games, and unlimited cuddles and smooches. I'll send photos, videos, and text updates throughout the program.

Transfer Session
When you pick your dog up at the end of the program, we will have a "transfer" session where I teach you how to maintain the training. You'll also get written and/or video instructions. The transfer session is approximately one hour.

Kick-Off Session (at my home)

Kick-Off Session (remote)
This meeting is approximately 30 minutes via Zoom
This option is offered case-by-case for very young puppies

Board & Train Programs
Additional fees may apply for some training, and will be discussed at the kick-off session
