Special policies for in-person training during the COVID-19 pandemic
Polite Pup remains dedicated to responsible safety precautions while operating during all stages of the COVID-19 pandemic. The following safety-related policies for in-person training remain in effect. This page was last updated on March 13, 2022.
LOCATION
In-person consults and lessons may be held indoors or outdoors, subject to the following face mask policy.
FACE MASKS
Properly fitting face masks must be worn at all times during all indoor consults, lessons, and jump start programs when clients are present. This applies to all family members in the home, regardless of age or vaccine status.
Face masks during outdoor lessons are not required, but are welcome.
JUMP START PROGRAMS
Practice sessions with the dog during jump start programs may be held indoors or outdoors, depending on the skills being worked on and the weather. If clients are in the home during a practice session, the above face mask policy applies, and a designated room within the home that is separate from the family is required.
NON-COMPLIANCE
Polite Pup may terminate any consult, lesson or practice session with the dog if it determines, in its sole discretion, that client or a participating member of client's household is not in compliance with any of the foregoing policies. Such a consult, lesson or practice session is deemed to be forfeited by the client and is not refundable.
